Tip#16: Have a Continuity Plan
Statistically, donors who give through #GivingTuesday are more likely to engage in different campaigns throughout the year. In fact, research shows they’re likely to donate again within 214 days – much sooner than if they give through another event or campaign. Include options on your donor form to create easy avenues for the continued support from these donors, i.e. monthly/quarterly/annual gift opt-in, and newsletter opt-in (default to checked). Recurring donors are, on average, five times more valuable than one-time donors and actively give beyond their subscription commitments.
